This S&H fee matrix is as simple as we could make it (given the 4.7:1 weight disparity between our heaviest and lightest book), yet still fair to both of us. "But the above order could go in a Priority Mail Flat Rate box for only $8.60 with Delivery Confirmation — and you're charging $13!" Yes, because the fees include not only the mere postage, but remuneration to our shipping staff (e.g., $3 for the above example). Your order doesn't get packed, labeled, and shipped by magic, thus the "handling" portion of S&H. New rates are about 20% high ($13 for $11.60 our cost), but over time end up about 20% low. A roughly fair average is the best we all can expect over time, else we'd have to change rates twice a year.

If you're unsure about the S&H costs, either email us or simply add a bit more to your order (and any overage will be refunded in cash with your books). If you're ordering something like a half case of You & The Police! and the normal S&H fee is grossly out of line (i.e., $44 for those 38 copies would be too high), please email us beforehand for an adjustment. Our distributors are welcome to supply us with their UPS account number on which we will ship their orders and eliminate the guesswork (simply add $5/carton for handling).

Cases (straight or mixed):

• UPS Ground is $30 west of the Mississippi River
• UPS Ground is $40 east of the Mississippi River

Book stores ordering single quantities under the S.T.O.P program may pay with order, take the 30% discount, and add shipping and handling.
